it seems like a lot of antifa type ppl are fighting against ideas because they perceive the ideas as potentially leading to a physical danger beyond just ideas. what is strange is how much real physical danger already exists that seems to be less of a concern. maybe something to be said about an abstract evil being easier to confront- often abstractly- than the everyday life dangers that might come up that have to be confronted in more immediate ways (like not being captured by a police force, or going hungry because we aren’t able to provide for ourselves)
